For 57 years, Bruckmann has been one of the most respected builders of custom and semi-custom yachts in North America. It started with Erich Bruckmann — a founding partner of C&C Yachts, who ran the Custom Division from the early 1960s to the late 1980s and built more than 200 custom and semi-custom boats.
His son Mark carries the family tradition forward. The craftsmen who built the C&C benchmark are still on the floor. Mark Ellis — who has been drawing hulls for Bruckmann for years — is now part of the name on the door. Nothing about how these boats get built has changed.
The product line shares a common respect for the sea, lasting quality, and value. Located approximately twenty miles west of Toronto in a purpose-built manufacturing facility, the yard combines old-world skills with modern materials, techniques, and equipment.

When a yard changes its name, you want to know whether the people changed too. They didn’t. Mark Bruckmann is still here — hands on, watching every hull that goes out the door. The craftsmen who built the C&C benchmark are still on the floor, some of them for close to half a century.
