Erich Bruckmann co-founded C&C Yachts in the 1960s. For nearly three decades he ran its Custom Division — producing 200 vessels that defined a generation of North American sailing. His son Mark carried that mastery forward, and kept the same crew on the floor.
The “+” isn’t a merger. It’s a formalisation. Mark Ellis has been drawing boats for Bruckmann for years — the Abaco 47, the Bluestar series, the 42 Cruising Sloop. His name was already on the hulls. Now it’s on the door too.
Together, the result is not simply a brokerage. It is a philosophy: that a crafted vessel should ask nothing of its owner but to sail it.
